Trying to conceive again?

Question

I recently lost my baby when I was 22 weeks along. It was so heartbreaking & devastating. It was my first pregnancy- I have no other children. My doctor has given the "ok" to start trying again next month. My husband wants to start trying immediately. I am so excited at the thought of being pregnant again but also feel so much sadness from this loss. Anybody have any advice or in a similar situation? How do I know when I'm ready to try again?

I'am so sorry for your loss. 
I lost a baby boy on December 22, 2016. He passed away at 24 weeks. 
I'am Now pregnant 30weeks with another baby boy. 
So I had my period 5 weeks  after the delivery, it was January 2017 and February I got pregnant. My doctor didn't told me not to get pregnant or something.
Things just happened like this. The first weeks I was very stressed and I had anxiety, I was crying a lot because I was expecting something bad to happened. But slowly I started to think positive, my husband helped me a lot too, we went in vacation while I was 10 weeks pregnant and when we came back I had a second ultrasound and when I saw the baby was fine I started to feel much better. 
I live in France and here doctors are very concerned about my baby's health. I'am having ultrasounds every month and see a midwife every week, and is very helpful. I can tell I'am happy for this baby even if I still think about my first one. But doesn't mean I'am going to forget him because I don't want to forget. 
He will be always my first but having this one helped me to grieve faster. I'am praying for a safe delivery and a healthy baby to take home. God bless you and hope everything will be fine for everyone. 💙

We also had a 22 week loss this past June. Worst experience of my life. We are ready to try again and am just waiting for my cycle to straighten out enough to actually ovulate. Hoping to try this month. TTC again is such a bittersweet thing, it was so simple before and now so heavy with different emotions. I believe a part of me will heal with a rainbow baby on board but I know it will be a nerve wrecking experience this time. Hoping to be pregnant again very soon. Good luck to you. I'm so sorry for your loss mama. My daughter was stillborn in February at 38 weeks so I understand how you're feeling. It's tough. I never felt particularly ready to try again I just knew that I wanted children and that my daughter wouldn't have wanted me to give up on that dream. I became pregnant very quickly after her birth/death. It was unexpected and overwhelming but it felt right. It's difficult being pregnant after loss. You have to take time to grief the child you lost but also to celebrate the child you're growing. There are a couple of Facebook groups I've found helpful. Pregnancy After Loss Support gave me so much hope and let me know that I wasn't alone. There is also Still Standing Magazine (also on Facebook). My only advice other than that would be to talk about it, especially with your partner. Let them know how you're feeling and what you fears and anxieties are. Thinking of you. I miscarried last week and am really hoping to get my period asap so I can try again. I'm afraid too but I don't want to waste time thinking too much. Praying for both of us.

I was told I could try again when I was emotionally ready. I feel like I just was after I grieved my loss. I had a mc in August and was pregnant again in October and now our rainbow baby is 6 weeks old 🌈🌈
