Late period

So I had a miscarriage on July 26. I bled for about 3-4 days (the length of my normal period). Now I know my hormones were all messed up, but I am now a week late starting my period. I am having all of my normal PMS symptoms (mild cramping, sore boobs, and minor breakouts). But nothing is happening!! I've taken multiple pregnancy tests and all negative. I'm fairly certain I ovulated a bit late after the miscarriage, so I know that could contribute to the issue. But since this has never happened before, I don't really know what's normal and what's not. I did not need a D&C;, so I was told my body could possibly go right back into a normal cycle. Has anyone else experienced this? And how late on your period were you after the miscarriage?
