Can you have a period and still be pregnant?

I've been having little feelings and such like i did with my first pregnancy and was 2 weeks late on my menstrual but then i started my period yesterday.  Sore boobs. Sick feeling.  Hot flashes. constipation.  but i just chalked it up to my starting my menstrual.  could there be a possibility?

You don't ovulate when you're pregnant, so it's impossible to be pregnant and have a "period." Some folks have bleeding that mimics or is mistaken for menstrual bleeding during pregnancy. If you feel concerned about being pregnant the best way to determine is to take a test.
