How does our mouth know to make more teeth TMI
BEWARE THIS POST HAS SOME INCREDIBLY SCARY HUMAN ANATOMY SORRY LMAO. Sarcasm* Someone got on Facebook and said "when we lose our baby teeth, how does our mouth know it needs to make more teeth? Stoner thoughts"
I literally sat here laughing for like 10 minutes okay. Our teeth start developing in utero. When we are born, our teeth are still developing in our jaws. At some point they mature into baby teeth and come through the gum.
We also have a second set, that stay in our skull and develop in there until our heads grow too big for our baby teeth and they fall out. Example:
Yeah. Children are basically nothing but teeth and their skulls look like something from a horror movie. But I thought that was common knowledge??? I told her this but got I couldn't stop laughing and she was like "oooooohhhhhh man okay wow"
I'm still laughing about this like deep belly laughing and I'm not sure why I find it so hilarious.
