Luke

Biggs

We rescued Biggs a couple years ago from our local shelter. He started out as a very shy and skittish kitty, but after a couple months he actually turned out to be quite the opposite. He loves anyone who will pet him, and is the missy social cat I've ever met.

Luke, is what I call am unintentional rescue. My husband isn't very patient, and didn't do well with thing children or anything similar, so I decided we needed to get a puppy to teach him how to be more understanding. We had seen a few and actually had picked a different dog, but the person sold him out from under us. We went looking again, and I came across this little guy. He was advertised as a 6 week old Maltipoo puppy, and was far less money than is usually normal for poodle mixes. I love poodles, so we decided to take him. We met up in a Kent's parking lot and made the exchange. I didn't think anything of it at first sand just assumed the people were paranoid. Turns out they weren't. What we thought was a 6 week old puppy, was a 3 week old puppy. He had ticks, which cannot be contracted where I live especially not in March. He had no teeth, and his eyes were still foggy. The vet said he likely came from an out of state puppy mill, and was very lucky we had decided to take him. He's now almost 7 months old, and a terror. Spoiled rotten, and loved by everyone. Including his kitty big brother.
