Bleeding and period like cramps after vaginal ultrasound

Hey guys. I am so scared. I am 7 weeks 2 days and we saw our baby for the first time yesterday with a transvaginal ultrasound. Everything was perfect. Baby's hear rate was 135 and we could even see it beating. The tech had to push around to find my right ovary but found it on the screen. I woke up with a tiny amount of light brown when I wiped, but figured it was from the ultrasound. My hubby and I had sex today also and there was spotting. Now I am having period like cramps and quite a bit of spotting. It isn't like having a period yet, but it is worrying me. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow, but has anyone else experienced this?
