How often do you say I love you to your husband?

I find it so sweet that he says I love you when he leaves for work, every time he calls me, and often before we go to bed. It's so different than relationships I've had before!

I always say I love you whenever we leave the house and whenever we talk on the phone. Life is short, you never know what can happen so I say it pretty often.

I'm the 4% barely ever. Well I'm not married but been together long enough and we have a baby. But he's just not affectionate at all, he's never heard his parents tell each other "I love you" so even I say it he'll either just be like yeah or love you to lol. I just got use to it so doesn't really matter because I know he does love me.

A guy once told me, "saying I love you too much makes it lose its meaning" (not someone I loved, but I thought that mindset was annoying). 🙄 It was refreshing when I met my now-husband who is just so candid and openly loving. We say I love you all the time throughout every single day, in his language and mine, and it means just as much to me now as it did when we said it the first time, if not more. There's no word limit when it's real, and if anything, expressing our feelings of affection freely has helped keep our love strong.
