Green Cookware?

Question

Any green Mamas out there know of a good non-stick cookware that doesn't have all the chemicals in it? I found some on Amazon but it's hard to tell what is actually legit on there these days. Ty!

Oh, cast iron, baby. An all-natural, classic kitchen essential that lasts a lifetime and even adds iron to your diet. If there's something else out there (besides toxic teflon), I haven't discovered it yet.

I use stainless steel and ceramic. It’s taken a little while to get the knack but stainless pans can be used without all the sticking if you get them hot enough and use a good fat like coconut oil and or butter to grease them. It also helps if you hand wash them because the seasoning builds up on the stainless steel making them less likely to stick.

I couldn't find any true ceramic pots here. All of them were aluminum with a ceramic coating, so I ended up buying  stainless steel and I love them.

I only use stainless, ceramic and cast iron. Ceramic is best for non stick but honestly I prefer just using my stainless and a little extra oil.

Cast iron is king!!!! Once you get a well seasoned cast iron skillet you’ll wonder how you ever used anything else. There’s definitely a learning curve with cooking with and cleaning them.  If you get cheap ones from wal mart you’ll struggle for a year or two before they get nice and seasoned (aka non stick). If you have the money there’s a brand online called Field that recently released the sexiest looking skillet ever: around 100$ a pop but your great great grandkids will be using that skillet, and they are forged in a way that holds seasoning like the old school skillets.
