Positive then negative preg test??

I had two strong BFPs two days ago (First Response). I just took a strip test (easy@home) and it looks negative, maybe an extremely faint line that could be an evap line.....what does this mean?? Does anyone see a positive in this test?? I'm starting to panic.

Wait! The easy@home test is not very sensitive. Period is due today. Both of these taken this morning with same morning urine. I plan on using easy@home to see if it's darkening to watch for progression. My FR can't get any darker.

I def see a faint line. Just so you don't panic first response pregnancy tests are the most sensitive pregnancy tests on the market And actually can pick up much lower amounts of hcg hormone. The time of day also matters. It's best to test first thing in the morning when you pee is most concentrated. I had a similar thing happen with first response vs a dollar store test. First response is very sensitive and will pick up much less miu of hcg than these strip tests. There are many factors that can be at play here: time of day, urine concentration, test sensitivity. I advise using the same brand test (FRER is my favorite and most reliable in my opinion) and using first morning urine to compare.

I still see the line but I had a chemical the month before I actually was able to get pregnant. It was heartbreaking but i got thru and if that ends up being the case you will too. I'm so sorry 🖤🖤🖤

this test is still positive. And line darkness can also vary based on dilution of the urine, hydration/dehydration, what time of day they were taken, etc. your best bet is to go to the doctor to get confirmation and can check ur hormone levels if concerned

Those cheap test need way more hcg to detect a pregnancy. It looks faint but stick with dirt response and compare those to one another.

I had the same thing with strip tests. In fact it took a week after i got BFP with other tests for the strip to start showing positive

The second test requires more HCG to be positive, so that may be why. However, I would definitely get a quantitative HCG test done then do another 48 hours later. If your HCG is doubling, that is a good sign. If not, you may be having a chemical pregnancy.

Could be a chemical pregnancy. That happened to me last month...the lines kept getting lighter as the days progressed until eventually no line. Started my period the day the line was gone. I was devastated as we have been trying to conceive for almost a year. Praying this is not the case for you and it's just due to early testing. Baby dust to you!
