Bleeding at 7 weeks

Currently 7 weeks pregnant. I started bleeding and cramping Thursday. It seemed to be more blood than just spotting but wasn't enough to fill a pad. Got ultrasound and blood work yesterday and everything looked fine but I'm on bed rest. Bleeding stopped Friday mid day. I got up today to give my two boys a bath and I got a small gush of blood. I'm now cramping like I'm on my period and bleeding bright red. Could this be from the placenta attaching or should I prepare myself for the worst? Honesty is ok and appreciated.
