Is it possible to fall in love with the same person twice?

Hi girls I'm Anabel and I wanted to know your oppinion, so I've been dating this guy for like 8 months. The first 5 I wasn't in love with him at all so we broke up a few times because I wasn't completely sure about us, but the last time we got back together I started to feel everything I was supposed to feel. The thing is, I was really in love with him but summer arrived and he went on vacation to a block of flats near the beach (and 20 minutes away from my home by bus) and his ex also goes on vacation there. I was really worried about it but I also trusted him a lot so I kinda forgot it. The thing is, they started posting pics and videos together, commenting hearts and stuff on each other's pics on instagram and talking by message. He says he now sees her as just a friend, but it annoys me and can't help it. I know 100% he hasn't cheated on me, but with all of this and his bad behaviour when we had an argument, I ended up not feeling the same about him. Now he promised me everything was gonna change and I want to give him the chance to see if it really does, do you think I can feel the same as I felt before? I'm really worried about that because we've been fine since we talked about this but I'm just not in love, I mean I love him, but im not in love, so i'd like to know your experiences and oppinions 😘

Personally I've never really loved a person outside of family. It was more and appreciation of specific characteristics both physically and mentally. But I do think it's possible since I have seen my sister go through it. But to each his own... Guess you have to willingly be open to fall again.
