I have an almost 3wk old on Monday, who I am breastfeeding and was curious on some of the behavior that's going on.

We have met with an LC at the hospital once, and she mentioned to try to veer away from using a nipple shield. To be honest we have not really tried this method because she gets super fussy and we end up just having to use the shield. But I also have not tried in awhile to try to solely use nipple only.

We are now taking up to an hour to feed and she falls asleep. I can't wake her even with burping, or tickling her, undressing....nothing seems to work. After 15-20mins she starts to cry and want more milk after I assume she's gotten enough milk when she actually is sucking. Is this normal??? What can I do? Thank you!!!
