Homesick but homeless

I have a house, but it doesn't feel like home. I HAD a home, and I left it behind to move out of state for my husband. And I just feel so out of place and empty. It's made me depressed and uneasy. I lay in bed all day because I don't know what else to do with myself. How can I get past this? Where can I find motivation?

Find a job in the area, maybe talk to family over Skype or FaceTime whenever you have the chance. Talk to your husband about it!

it's kind of nice to move to a new place. you get to make it into a home. go shopping and find special things that make the place yours or paint to give it a new feel. if the new city isn't feeling like home grab your husband and go explore. think of what you lived about your old city and try to find comparable things in your new city

I moved across country for my husband! The first 5 months were brutal. I was ready to move back home until I found out I was pregnant. It'll never go away, but it does get easier. I promise! Find a hobby! Make friends, decorate. Be adventurous with hubby in your new town!
