This weekend I let my boyfriend use my jeep at an event for off-roading and such. One of the days I asked him politely if he could pay for a jeep shirt for my dad since he can't go this year and he said "no!!! I'm saving up for my own jeep". I was a little bothered by this but I just said whatever and bought it myself. Today, he told me that I'm going to have to give him my debit card to pay for the gas to be filled up because he's already "spent too much money this weekend" when he literally has only spent $15 on a t-shirt for himself. I don't know if this sounds snobby or not but I just wish he would realize that I'm doing him a favor by letting him use my jeep with his friends and pay it back even a little!!
