"Religious" isn't "Christian"

I'm just throwing it out there... So many people say, "Are you religious?" "That person is very spiritual!" "Have a blessed day!" etc. Thing is, I'm deeply religious and spiritual. I tell people have a blessed day. But I don't mean may God bless your day or that I'm an avid Bible reader. I'm Wiccan; I have no problem with Christianity, but I'm tired of seeing "Religious" used to mean "Christian". By all means, love your God and spread that love- but please remember people can be spiritual and pray and have faith and have no connection to God. I have my own gods and I'm down to talk religion. But "religious" doesn't just mean "Christian", and that's important. To Wiccans. To Muslims. To Jews. To Buddhists and Hindus and Sikhs and Shintoists. It's important to remember the difference in the words, because using religion for Christianity erases other religions and tolerance and consideration are hella important. Anyway that's my opinion; love you guys, please think about it!
