Glow calendar keeps changing?

I'm having a difficult time ttc so I am trying this app. Problem is my cycles are sporadic, different each month and so I get a Glow projection for my fertile week, log like crazy but then when my period doesn't come when the app predicts, my fertile window and dates change! 😥. So even if we had sex the projected week of fertility, because by period didn't arrive in time the fertile week changes. ☹️

Hello D. I had this problem when I first started using Glow. Then I started using an ovulation kit. I feel much more confident in my cycle now. The trick is to use the sticks on the first Green day, and keep going until the kit says you have a Luteal surge (mine is usually 5 days later). Then You tell Glow what's happening.

Same thing happened to me. I was following it and logging, it had my periods pretty much on que except last month , it came a week early, but the other day it totally changed my start day to this week instead of next week. I had sex during what was my scheduled ovulation days, was a little concerned that We could of conceived, so I took a pregnancy test , but it was negative. I'm just trying to keep somewhat track of my ovulation days because I had to get off of my OC because of a hepatic adenoma on my liver. I didn't want to get on any BC because honestly, I don't want anything foreign in my body since getting the diagnosis. We do want to have children, but I have to wait and see if the tumor has shrunk and it's safe. I know, we should know better, but I just don't think I can get pregnant as easily as someone younger than me (I'm 41). Soooo, just wanted to know if this is a glitch in the app or if it's because my period went off schedule last month.

The variation in our cycle lengths is due to the follicular phase before ovulation. Luteal phase should be consistent month to month. So when glow pushes your period date it's due to ovulation happening later.
