My fiance and I have been engaged for 3.5 months. He wanted to wait to tell his mom for her birthday today. So I've hid it, I haven't posted about it on Facebook or even made plans because he wanted to surprise her. We had family photos done on his birthday and I put a bunch in a photo album for her that says, he did a thing, a big thing, I said hell yes. It took me two hours to put together the album get wording right and placement right. And today he walked in the house and goes I'm running this up to mom's. I look and it's her gift. I tell him tiny human is down but I'm waking him up if you wait I'll go to or you can go cause I don't want to see (stepdad-- guy is abusive jerk I steer clear). Next thing I know the door closed. He came back 15 minutes later and said she was happy and said congrats... He knew how badly I wanted to be there. It is a big step coming for 3 years and I got left out of it. So should I be mad or just let it go?
