What to expect when going to Planned Parenthood?

Hi girlies! I just wanted to know how to not feel nervous about going to Planned Parenthood for getting birth control. My boyfriend and I are active and I think it would be good for me since I hear it helps with periods as well. How was your experience? Any advice? Let me know.

when i went i was going for birth control and honestly, i love them. there's nothing to be nervous about honestly. they are so good at explaining everything and make you feel so welcomed!

I went to get pills. I told them I already had a pap that year with my regular doctor. I just couldn't get pills before mine ran out over the weekend because the pharmacy said it was too early to get that prescription, even though I would run out on a day they were closed. they didn't make me do a papsmear. they asked medical questions, took my blood pressure and the doctor talked to me and went over everything to make sure it was right. I got 14 month supply of pills, plan b and condoms. everyone was super nice and friendly.
