Body positive, but wanna be skinny...

My little sister is 8 and we had just had a water balloon fight and when we were cleaning up she asked me if I wanted to be skinny instead of fat. I do want to be skinny very badly, but I don't mind my body the way it is now. I am 20, 5 foot 7 inches, and weigh 285-290 lbs. I am a little over weight, but my doctor said my levels for things are normal and I don't have diabetes or anything. I don't eat a lot, just snack on unhealthy things and I need to change that. But I want to teach her to be positive about herself no matter what size she is and she just says "I don't ever want to be as fat as you are sis". Which is good, because I am not body goals, but that still really hurt. 😶😞😔

Don't let people be mean to you... if you are happy then don't let anyone let youfeel bad... if you want to eat better than do it, stand instead of sit, eat an apple instead of ice cream.... i know how u feel tho, i am overweight to

Children tend to put things very blunt when they don't mean it in a hurtful way.

When I was in high school i weighed 200 pounds and I'm around 5'7, my friends were like damn you look like a beast. Which is not what I really wanted to hear. I was told my face looked fat and maybe I should watch what I eat. I was working out but I was doing it wrong, I started to eat a little bit healthier. Now I run and lift light weights and still eat somewhat health. I now weigh 155 And couldn't be happier. But this is how I like my body, everyone is different and if you like your body the way it is then be proud of it 😊

Honey you ain't "a little over weight"! You're obese and fat as shit. Watch what you eat and get your ass off the couch. ✌👍

You're more than a little over weight. Young kids are just brutally honest though.
