Unwanted comments from strangers
Today I went out to lunch with my husband and son (2). We were being seated when to waitress asked when I was due, I said June 3rd and her face said it all, but she needed to vocalize her thoughts so she started yelling "June?!?". Then she called over another waitress and said, "Marcie, she is not due until June!!!". So then I said, well, June 3rd, so it's really not that far... She then started counting the months outloud when ANOTHER waitress was called over and said , "oh yeah, but she's having twins, right dear??" Then I said " no, only one, and then I felt the need to explain that my son came early and then my husband said that he will most likely be a May baby. It was horrible! I have never had anything like that happen to me before, usually stuff like that doesn't bother me. They really would not let it go, I wanted to leave before we even ordered. 😔
