Gender US too early at 14w6d?

So I have a friend doing our gender US for free. We plan on Thursday September 14th, I would be 15w6d but she said she forgot she doesn't work that day but could do it this Thursday (14w6d). I'm just afraid that's too early? Of course I am super thankfully and willing to do it any day she can. Just not sure if I should schedule an elective US at 16 or 17 weeks to double check?? We just found out on friday and I was only 13w4d and she said she could tell right away. She then went on and explained to us how she could tell and it was really re-assuring! We're having a gender reveal party in a couple of weeks! I'm super happy we found out early. Let the shopping begin !! 😊😊

Between 12-17 weeks is an educated guess I was told.

Too early. You could do it just for fun but I wouldn't believe it quite yet lol. Not accurate til after 18 weeks

I found out my son was indeed a boy at 13+4. It was clear as day there were testicles there. It was confirmed at 20 weeks but I couldn't wait that long. I'm planning on doing an early ultrasound at 15 weeks too. The place close to where we moved only does it that early.
