I'm reading conflicting information. Obviously you're told to refrain from sex for one week after taking the one single dose for chlamydia. But from other information, it says after the dose you take, it takes 48 hours for it not to be contagious any longer. Is this correct?

I know you HAVE to wait a week. That is not my question. My question is, is it true it is no longer contagious after 48 hours.
