Where does a FTM find solid information??
I found out last week that I'm pregnant with my 1st baby (yay!!), and based on my LMP I'm 5 weeks 4 days.. I know there's a ton of information out there about what to eat/not eat, what to expect... just general info for a FTM. I always figured I'd grab the book "what to expect when you're expecting", but I've been looking for good info and I've found that a lot of people didn't like that book because it is fear-based? I guess I'm just wondering where we are supposed to get this info? What are the good baby books to read? How should I be preparing? Should I subscribe to Parents magazine or something? I have a handful of friends with new babies and/or older kids, but I've had miscarriages in the past, so we're not telling anyone yet. So I can't exactly ask those friends. Lol sorry for the mini novel, I just want to make sure I have the vital info. Help!
