breast milk info ?

i just started producing enough breast milk for my daughter . i just fed her and she didn't finish the whole bottle. i don't wanna waste anything it was in the refrigerator and i warmed it with warm/hot water.  can i put it in the refrigerator again after i just warmed it up

No. Once breastmilk has been warmed it's unsafe to put back in the refrigerator

Whoa I didn't know you couldn't use it once he drank it already lol I def used to do that with my son. He's a healthy 14 month old now!

No. Once it's been warmed up it doesntneed to go back in the fridge to drink later. You can always use it for a milk bath to keep from just throwing it out

my pediatrician told us not to reuse formula or breast milk if they already ate some of it because they can have bacteria get in the bottle from their mouth from drinking and make them sick. even though 95% of people i know with kids put unused formula in the fridge and saved it for the next feeding with no problems. but i haven't because i don't wanna risk it.
