Braxton-hicks? How early did you experience these? TIA! 😙

I'm 25 weeks this week and have experienced what I think are braxton-hicks contractions a few times this weekend. Just an intense tightening sensation that lasts a few seconds then goes away. It doesn't feel like the normal baby movements I've felt this far. Just wondering what you other mommas have to say about this! This is my first pregnancy and so I have no prior experience with any of this lol. Thank you!

I've felt them since very early on, but this is also my 5th baby. I was joking with my husband the other day, I said I don't know why my uterus feels the need to "practice" so much. This is baby #5 it should know what it's doing by now lol I have them quite frequently throughout the day.

It is totally normal. It's your body practising for the real deal. Unless they are painful and/or you can time them consistently, there is nothing to worry about. I'm on baby number 3 and I got them with both my previous 2. Started a little earlier this time. Just make sure you're drinking enough water as this can bring them on And put your feet up when you can. 😊

I've been having them over the last few days, I'm 25w. It happens on and off with no real pattern. They don't hurt, just uncomfortable tightness that lasts a few seconds.

It's my first pregnancy and I've been having them at least once a day since 16 weeks.  I'd get them sleeping or if I need to pee or walk too fast.

Yes. That's what it feels like. I had them very intense with my son. I just hit 25 weeks and have begun having them. They are not usually painful, but your stomach turns hard as a rock. 
I feel like they started around week 30-32 with my son though. 
How often have you felt them?

Have been getting them on and off since 17weeks. 😩 I take this as my cue that I'm doing to much and need to lay down and relax.

I am just over 25 weeks now and haven't getting them since about 21 weeks, I was concerned because I didn't have any with my daughter but my OB said they are much more common in subsequent pregnancies. She told me that getting them even very frequently is normal, as long as they are not painful and there is no bleeding she said not to worry about it. I can tell they are Braxton Hicks because they are definitely much less painful than the real contractions I had with my daughter, even the first few really early labor contractions were much more painful than Braxton Hicks. They can be very uncomfortable, but not really painful. I think I get them more too because I am up and moving around so much chasing after a toddler..
