Can you get through an entire period without using pads, just using tampons?

After many years of assuming that I needed to wear pads as a backup if I used tampons, I finally had a period where I JUST used tampons.

Answer

Instead of using pads you can just use tampons when your period is heavy and then once it's clearing up you can use panty liners
