Trying again

Ethel
I'm 22 and me and my husband are trying to get pregnant again after the miss miscarriage, 4 months ago. People make it seem so easy. How long after a miscarriage is it possible to get pregnant?

It's POSSIBLE to the first cycle, but it's different for every woman. It depends on a lot of factors, but if your doctor gives you the green light then go for it!

My doctor said it's possible to get pregnant as soon as the first cycle, but it could take a year even for the most healthy couples. I know it's so tough and discouraging to keep trying, but unless your doctor has expressed any concern you should just keep trying. Maybe try OPKs and temping if you aren't already? Or if you are temping and doing OPKs and stressing over it, maybe try "not trying" for a couple months. I've read of a lot of couples getting pregnant after they change it up a bit. I've also read some recent studies about the importance of zinc in the male's diet for successful conception. Maybe have your dh take a multivitamin? Good luck and baby dust!

Thank you. I don't know what either of those methods are though.
