Advise?

So about a month and a half ago, my husband and I decided we wanted to try for a boy. He has 2 girls with his ex and has partial custody, I have full custody of my daughter. We decided we wanted to try and have one together.

For an entire month he wore boxers, we avoided doing the deed until ov time. Then when it was time... he chickens out.

Tells me that we can't afford another child.

Now I'm extremely disappointed and heart broken.

I've called daycare centres and home daycare (a friend of ours) and I've put together somewhat of a financial plan.

Totally bumbed out and he isn't budging.

I don't want to push it, but any advise?

I'm pretty confused on why the sudden change in heart when he was on board a few weeks ago...
