Shortness of breath during pregnancy

Sarah • Mommy of romeo (2/19/2016) and ttc again 🤞🏻

I'm about 7 weeks and since this morning I'm experiencing shortness of breath which I hadn't with my first pregnancy.

My head spin and I can't do anything, just stay in my bed...anyone had same experience? And how did you do? Tomorrow I have my doc app and my second ultrasound (with my first u/s we couldn't see much, it was still too early).

I've been reading it could be a sign of twins...please, keep me calm! Thank you for all your help!!!

It's normal, and part of it is from increased blood and blood flow.

You're welcome! I'll be 8 weeks tomorrow, and I can't get up or turn over in bed without panting. lol

I had it too early in pregnancy. My doctor said it is because the increase in hormones and it gives you a feeling of being out of breath. It isn't until later when the baby is bigger that your breathing will be constricted because lack of room.

I had it my whooole pregnancy up until like 36 weeks. I can FINALLY breathe again. It's normal, it's because your lungs get moved around and crowded which can make it difficult to breathe at times.
