pregnancy easier than period? opinion?

My sister who lost her baby at 5 months a few years ago says that me being 7 months pregnant is sooo much easier than getting a period every month. Anytime I find the courage to complain about /anything/ involving my body or how I feel she is constantly making me feel stupid for it.  Today I'm fighting bronchitis and I said how uncomfortable I feel and all she said was "stop complaining. until you remember what period cramps are you've got nothing to complain about!" it's constant. And it honestly makes me uncomfortable and I feel like I don't have anyone I can just vent too. I haven't had the easiest pregnancy and is it wrong that part of me feels like she might be a little jealous? Please tell me if I'm completely wrong.

I think it's all subjective, I have insanely bad menstrual cramps and I would say:
-The first four months of 24/7 nausea, vomiting, not being able to eat anything, and that exhaustion/fatigue was worse than cramps.
-Getting a cold in my fifth month and being sick for three weeks and not being able to take anything for it was worse than cramps.
-My sixth and seventh month so far though WAY easier than having cramps. Other than waking up a lot and some soreness I feel pretty great. I would take this stage of pregnancy over cramps any day!!
That being said I can't imagine it is easy for her to see you going through your pregnancy after losing a baby. It sucks that she is being petty about it and making you feel upset/uncomfortable when you just want someone to talk to, but I can't even imagine the pain I would be feeling if I were in her shoes. Maybe try having a talk with her and ask her what's really up, not in a confrontational way but in a compassionate way. Try to understand what she's feeling. Explain that you were hoping she would be more supportive but you also get if hearing about your pregnancy is difficult for her and that it was never your intention to make her feel bad. Idk. I think that's what I would want to hear.

She probably is jealous, but try to be sensitive about complaining around her.  I'm sure she would give anything to feel what you are complaining about.  Because yes, what she went through is 100x worse than pregnancy; losing her baby.

She probably is jealous.. But I do understand her reasoning, maybe there is a way you could talk to her to understand her feelings.. let her know you are supportive and are still here for her if she needs to talk or feel hurt (others move on from grief much faster than the person who experienced the loss) maybe by letting her know that you haven't forgotten she will be able to support you, and be happy for you during this time. 
Also I have severe endometriosis and I can honestly say that pregnancy has been very very easy for me compared to those few days of terrible pain that I was in during my period. So for some what she's saying is not incorrect although everyone is different.

She is definitely jealous because I had heinous cramps and periods and they were easy compared to being pregnant. You are pregnant for 9 months you are missing 45-63 days of being on your period during that time that alone makes pregnancy harder.

In my oppinion having your period is SO much easier then pregnancy. She has lost her mind, I'm absolutely miserable and I wouldn't be so nice about her rude comments.

I would just remind her every pregnancy and period is different. 
For her, her periods might be truly worse than her pregnancy. I can actually relate to her on this. I lost a baby as well and as a result of that and a scrappy doctor at the the time I have very bad inflammation and horrible cramps. Sometimes my cramps made feel like I was having a natural miscarriage all over again. So, in short it felt like I was having contractions for one day every month. So, there have been moments of this pregnancy where I have shiver at the thought of dealing with on a continual basis again. So, I could see why she or some people might think this.
I am not saying that makes it appropriate for her to not be supportive and listen to you. It is just that when people are going through their own stuff it, they kind of loose their filter and say things they should not.

She's an ahole for making you feel any type of way.  For me,  periods were never a problem and I had no symptoms.
