Anyone that was against co-sleeping end up Co sleeping?

Question

I was talking with my neighbors and they were so convinced that I'd end up co-sleeping. I told them no I wont. it scares me to even think of attempting it because I'm scared I'd smother my baby.. they said I would end up doing it no matter what I think because I'll end up getting tired and let her sleep on or next to me while I sleep.. so, I guess, let me know your experiences. :)

I'm not a parent that wanted to co sleep neither did my husband and we stuck to it and my son has been in his crib in his room since 2 weeks old and worked great for us

we co-slept with our oldest and eventually it was miserable. he wouldn't sleep anywhere else but in between us or in our room. putting him to bed in his crib was a long fight , screaming, crying, fighting his sleep.my youngest slept in a bassinet in our room for a month but never in out bed and transitioned perfectly to a crib in his own room.

Oh no! My husband and I love to cuddle. I have a friend that sleep with her two kids on her bed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Now she can put them to sleep on they own bed cause they will cry for hours. Every time they want to get intimate they need to do it i another part of the house. That's a hell no for me! Love been able to feel hubby next to me. I feel like is not healthy for a child to sleep
With his/her parents or even healthy for a relationship, unless you single. 🤷🏻‍♀️ just me!

I wasn't against it, I just had no intentions of doing it myself (because I am a wild sleeper). But sleeping with my daughter has been nothing but beneficial for the both of us! Her body temperature is always good, she sleeps better, I sleep better and quick response time when she is hungry.

I'm super against co-sleeping for us. We're having twins and I have so many pillows in bed that get moved around during the night that it wouldn't be safe for them to sleep with us. Not to mention I sprawl in the bed and we have at least one of our three dogs in bed with us at all times. 
I can't sleep at all with just a couple of pillows and my dogs have slept with me since they were puppies so there is no breaking them out of sleeping with us. The two younger ones don't sleep with us as much any more but my oldest dog is usually attached to my hip or I wake up wrapped around her.
So the twins are going to be sleeping separately from us from the get go. Plus I grew up in a household were my parents never let us sleep with them when we were younger so it's just kind of weird to me.

I just wanted to say I DO NOT JUDGE ANYONE WHO DOES. just so no one gets offended. I am just personally scared.. maybe because I'm a FTM. but so far I appreciate yall's responses and outlooks on the subject

I was firmly against it. My son is just over 2 weeks old now and we've tried putting him in his pack and play next to our bed and putting him in his crib. He will not sleep down alone without someone holding him. So after 2 weeks of my husband and I sleeping in shifts and with him having to return to work this weekend we broke down and have slept with him in our bed the past couple of nights and we've all slept well for the first time in weeks. To be honest I'm still not super comfortable with it and want to try and break him of it soon but we've been so exhausted that if it's the only way we can sleep then that's what we're doing for the time being. All you can do is what you feel like is best for you and your baby.

My boyfriend and I both agreed that we were not going to co sleep at all. We stuck to our guns and I put her in her crib in her own room at 7 weeks old. (Before she was in a Rock n Play next to our bed)
She's done great in her own room. I think being in her own room alone helps her sleep tons better. We've had no problems.

I was so sure I would never do it. But those first few weeks were hard... I found myself falling asleep holding the baby on the couch. I started to get comfortable with the idea of co-sleeping and then a friend came to visit. She's an ER doctor and (without shaming or prying) urged me to ensure baby sleeps safely. She came with a myriad of stories of mothers handing lifeless babies to her, begging her to turn back time. Heartbreaking. I know it works out well for so many, but that was enough to keep me from ever even closing my eyes with baby. Make the right choice for you and your family, and be sure to do it safely. ❤️

I was so against it, because of my fear that I would end up on top of him. 
He's 5 weeks old now and sleeps so much better beside me, near my boob. Which means I am a happy mom because I get rest. I guess it's the motherly instinct that is there even when I'm asleep that helps me not accidentally kill my child. I do try to set him down in the bassinet or his soothing motions seat so he can learn to sleep away from me, but he never sleeps as good there.

Anyone that was against co-sleeping end up Co sleeping?
