Any other Nannys Ttc?

Looking to connect with other nannys who are currently ttc. Hoping we can talk all about the daily-life struggles that only other nannys can relate to, and offer each other support!

​Do your bosses know you're ttc? How will you tell them? Will you get to keep your position, or will you be moving on to something else?

my step children with me When they aren't in school. So Im hoping they wont have a problem with me bringing a baby. My concern will be the time between having the baby and returning to work.

Well I'm not a nanny but I am a childcare worker an I work in the baby room of the crèche. My close work friends know I am trying but I haven't told the boss or manager. I won't tell them until I actually am pregnant. Working with babies makes me want a baby even more!!

I'm not a nanny but I run a daycare out of my house. I'm currently 6+3 weeks pregnant but I won't tell the parents until were 3 months and have a more solid due date and then my mom lives close enough that if I go into spontaneous labor she's only 20 mins away so she can come watch my son and if I have the daycare kids she'll watch them and on my way I'll just text all the parents letting them know my moms at my house and she knows the schedules and I'll see them later haha. But I haven't told my mom get either.

Oh and as regards what to do when I have a baby I don't know! There is the option of actually bringing the baby to work with me. My ideal situation would be to stay at home with the baby but that puts a lot of pressure on my husband to bring in all the money.

Wow! So many more of us than I thought there would be... My bosses don't currently know I'm actively trying, though I have to assume they know that since I'm now married it's a possibility. Unfortunately for me, bringing baby with to work isn't a possibility, as both my momboss and dadboss have previously expressed their desire to have a nanny w/O children.  I find the thought utterly devastating, and it puts a bit of a damper on the whole ttc process. I have been with this family for 5 years, and 3 children (with one more on the way), so it makes it hard to feel like I am CHOSING to leave (though in reality I know it's their choice for me to leave if I have a baby, not mine). So there is both pure joy, and some fear/anxiety over whether or not there will be a BFP each month....

im a nanny and ttc. I havent told my boss that im actively trying but she does know I am off my bc. im hoping to keep my positiony boss is totally fine with me bringing
