So the guy that I'm head over heels for and just got a place with dropped the biggest bomb on me ever. He told me yesterday that he wants to fight for his family. He has a son with his ex and said he wants to try one last time to make it work. I honestly do love this man. And ive been through a divorce with kids so i know its rough not seeing them. I even understand the need to fight for his family. I really do. But in the same breath hes telling me that he still loves me, wants to be with me, and the kicker that if he had custody of his son that he wouldnt leave. Im lost. Ive been a wreck for two straight days now. I honestly dont know what to do. I know as a mother i cant tell him not to fight for his family. And as the woman that loves him i cant tell him to stay if he truly doesnt want to. I just dont know what to do. Try to forget about everything or wait ubtil he makes some kind of decision even if it breaks me?
