Bruised Ovary?

Anyone ever feel like they have a bruised ovary? That is the only way I can describe this pain and it's only on one side.

It could be a cyst. Each ovulation is technically a follicle cyst that releases an egg. Sometimes though it doesn't release the egg like it's supposed to and a cyst continues to grow. This causes pain and discomfort and can heighten when it finally ruptures. I tend to get them more on one side than the other, which sounds similar to your symptoms. You may want to make an appointment to confirm this is what's wrong the next time you have one though.

Does the pain only happen once a month? If so, it's probably ovulation pain.

I had that problem! It was an ovarian cyst! When in the docs to check and sure enough she caught it before it was a big problem! It's something very  very painful that you should avoid !
