Do you give your sick toddler soup?

Everyone in my house is feeling under the weather, including my 15 month old. Can you give toddlers soup? Will they eat it?

I'd suggest homemade soup rather than tinned as it can be quite high in salt. But as long as they're weaned/weaning it should be fine. Great way to get fluids in to them too.

my parents always had a "sick" bowl for me.... it had little bunnies on it with super fancy handles on the side and I only got to use it when I was sick.... it encouraged me to eat whatever they put in it simply because it was "The Bunny Bowl"... I loved it, maybe try something like that to encourage them to try soups/broth while sick?
