I'm 36 weeks and 3 days and my doctor has never checked me for dilation thus far. My husband and I have a gut feeling that my son is going to be here earlier than his due date. I have an appointment today and I'm hoping she will check me but is it normal if she doesn't? Should I speak up and tell her that I want to be checked?

I'm getting so anxious to meet my son I cant take it!
