Was anyone's child born at 36/37 weeks? If so, how did it go?

I have a gut feeling that my son will be here any day now. I'm 36 weeks and 3 days and it concerns me that he will not be developed fully if he comes. At my last ultrasound (8/22/17) he was measuring at 5 lbs 4 oz and everything so far in my pregnancy has gone fabulous. No problems at all.

I'm not trying to induce labor or anything. I think I just need to hear some personal experiences to ease my mind if he does decide to come early.
