HSG/letrazole.. Input please!

Well, I have tried clomid, ovidrel and follistem. My RE never checked my tubes. So I went to a regular GYN who is really knowledgable about infertility. He is checking my tubes tomorrow morning. Has anyone had done before? I know how it works as I used to assist an OB GYN doctor personally. I'm worried about the pain. Pointers? Also, I'm gonna be starting letrazole next cycle. Anyone else been on letrazole and had success? It's been nearly 2 years ttc.
