So I woke up with contractions last night. Very painful, 8 mins apart for 1.5 hours. So I drank a bunch of water and eventually they stopped so I didn’t go in. This isn’t my first pregnancy rodeo. I called my nurse line this morning and the lady couldn’t get off the phone fast enough. “Oh well they stopped so you’re fine see you next week.” I ask if she’s sure he won’t want to check and make sure the episode didn’t dilate me. “Nah he’ll check next week, if it keeps up, go to the ER k bye.” 😡. My doc is generally a very cautious guy. Call me crazy but I would at least prefer if you asked him my question before you flat blew me off. This is the same nurse who has called me twice to give me incorrect appointment reminders 🙄
