I got the contraceptive implant put in earlier today and I have some questions...

So, while I was there, the lady told me that it WILL mess up my period. Whether I have a constant one, or I don't get it all- it will change it.

Mine is very normal, maybe my cycle is a day or 2 longer than the average, but besides that I've never missed a period in my life, I've always had periods that last 5 days long.

I'm guessing there is no way to determine how it will change for me since everyone's different (praying it will get rid of it lol)

I'm just really scared that my implant will move and I'll have to have an operation, or it'll get infected, or I'll snap it somehow idk, or that it'll reject and leave a long scar, or that I'll bleed forever once I get it...

Also, acne. She said acne will play a part it in, I'll probably be depressed (I take anti depressants anyway so she said I should worry) but idk...
