So my boyfriend and I have been considering different birth control methods so we don't have to keep using condoms and as far as I've been able to decide I'm not comfortable with the implant in my arm or any iud, so my options are down to the weekly patch or the 3-month shot. I am most concerned with side effects of the hormones because the females in my family have history of depression and anxiety which I have struggled with so I don't want to risk any of that. Any help or experience with either of these methods helps. Thanks so much!
