Colic?

Tell me how to know? And what did you use to help? My baby is 5 weeks old today.

My daughter is 4 months now, but I believe she had colic. She would cry in the evening starting in the afternoon for hours.  A doc suggested I put her to bed earlier than she wanted ( 8pm instead of 10)...it made it worse. Gas drops and gripe water didnt help. She had some diahrea at 2.5 months and the doc recommended Gerber probiotic drops. It helped a ton dor the colic!! I give it to her in her bottle in the early afternoon and she cried less. Mommys Bliss us cheaper and the pharmacist I work with says its the same so we use that. We still use it daily.
