Problems with feeding

Am I the only one that has problems with the new way they want you to prepare formula? I understand us for safety reasons but my baby has problems latching on and I use formula most of the time when I can't pump but I can't mix formula while I'm on the road if the water is not boiled first, I feel really frustrated because if I prepare the formula before I leave home it won't be good for more than an hour so I don't know what to do besides just staying home instead.
