Physical abuse is worse because 99% of the time is also includes emotional abuse. I was physically, emotionally, mentally, sexually, financially abused. The physical abuse was so horrific some people would probably feel ill. I was the number one severe case out of all 124 women in my shelter. I can tell you from experience, I am still dealing with the emotional abuse that the physical abuse left. But, If I had to choose, I would rather be yelled at, put down, called names, every day for the rest of my life than feel that kind of pain for an hour. The torture, the bruises, the blood. It's worse.
