Too soon to test?

My period was August 21-25. My peak ovulation day according to ovulation tests was August 31st with no LH surge after that date.. my husband and I BD every other day starting the 26th of August.. is it too soon to pregnancy test?

I ovulated the 31st-1st anf it's to soon, even blood work won't pick up anything until 7 days past implantion, and implantion takes anywhere 6-12 days after ovulation. 
I personally go by that, it's what ive read that makes the most sense, and it prevents me from testing early and getting false test results

Way to early you're only 5dpo you need to be at the very least 9dpo.
