3 week old fighting sleep?!

my baby is 3 weeks old today, for a little over a week he's been fighting his sleep AWFUL, he'll stay awake up to 3 hours, he's breast fed, and refuses a paci, he'll just sit there awake and every now & then he'll cry, around the 3 hour mark he'll get really fussy until i put him on me, and he'll just use me as a paci. and suggestions on what will help or why he's doing this?

Sounds like baby is over tired. Usually at 3 weeks the longest they are up for is 30 minutes. If you breastfeed why don't you just breastfeed him to sleep? There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. And I just have to mention that the pacifier was designed to imitate the breast not the other way around so if you feel like a "human pacifier" that's because it is completely normal.  
When in doubt whip the boob out!

My baby girl is three weeks today as well she has been staying up for one to two hours a few time in the day time but doesn't cry until she needs to be changed or feed! If he is feeding a lot it could be bc he could be hitting a growth spurt! Good luck and hang in there momma!!

Try having him swaddled & let him listen to your heartbeat that's how I got my baby to calm down & she slept great .
