Do you have to experience an emotional connection to have sex?

Question

I'm trying to figure out if most of us have to experience a deeper emotional connection to have sex with someone and/or if an emotional connection always develops after sex. Aka can experience sex like "men" say they do: without any emotional attachment.

I do not have to have an emotional connection with someone to have sex 
I enjoy sex more, and can get more "into it" when i am emotionally connected with someone. 
And if I can emotionally connect during sex my connection with that person grows deeper

At first I didn't want a connection but now I have had a connection with someone it is so much more important.

I probably have more of the man side than the female side on this one. Now the first and my husband are different. But in between, don’t care.

personally, i do. i honestly never see attractive guys and want to sleep with them, i'd just see an attractive guy 🤷🏼‍♀️ i have no desire at all to sleep with someone that i'm not emotionally connected to because i need that in a partner too. but thats just me and to each their own ☺️

I think it all depends where your at in life and what you need mentally and emotionally at that time. You definitely don't need to have an emotional connection to have sex. I've honestly had some of the best sex of my life with no emotional connection to that person. Just needed to do me at that time and not care or be connected to anyone. I do think however, if you continue to have sex with the same person for a period of time, someone will develop "feelings".
