Too late to tone up/shape up?

I am now 15w4d and wishing I had of spent more time before this pregnancy shaping up. I'm quite unhappy with my mid section. I'm feeling like I've got a bit more energy now and I'd like to get back into work outs. Has anyone successfully lost 'fat' during pregnancy?

I've got the all clear by my Dr and midwife.
