We wanted to have a coed baby shower and my husband and I have a large house/property to accommodate. Therefore, we are throwing our own shower (with the help of my mom).

We already sent out evites and did not include the registry info on them as I felt it would be tacky (throwing our own shower and indicating registry right on the invite). However, as the date gets closer, I notice that our registry remains untouched.

We passed the registry information on to our parents and some siblings, but it doesn't seem like word is travelling.

I have a reminder email scheduled for two weeks prior to the event - would it be horrible to include the registry info on this reminder?

I don't want to come across as greedy, but also don't want to end up with a bunch of things we don't need and a list of things we have to buy ourselves.

Any input?
