So I have seen that there are some pretty talented cake makers/ decorators on this app!

I would really love to at least decorate my son's first birthday cake, but I don't really have much experience decorating.

So, can you give me any tips on how to get started?

How would you go about making that effect on the side of this cake?

My boy's birthday is still about 5 months away, so do I have enough time to build up a basic skill?
